TweetDeck For iPhone Returns To The App Store

TweetDeck for iPhone, one of the most popular Twitter Apps for the iPhone, this past Friday produced one of the most magical dissapearing acts from the App store, a move which left many in a state of surprise and dissapointment.

A Poorly released version 1.1 had to be pulled out of the App store due to some kinks that must’ve slipped through their testing process before submitting it for review, thus pulling it out to fix the crashes and other related problems.  Version 1.1.1 was submitted to Apple and now has been approved and available.

With V1.1.1 comes a host of  much needed new features such as;

  • Video Record & Upload (3GS Only)
  • Facebook Account Support
  • Landscape Mode
  • Alternatve Light Theme etc

Unlock My iPhone (o2-UK)

O2iPhone UnlockWith o2-UK’s Exclusivity contract for the Apple iPhone Expiring as of tomorrow Nov 10th, o2-UK are now offering their current customers unlocking options to their iPhone devices to be used with any other Uk Network. This move is believed to be partly prompted by Orange gaining rights to provide the handset on their network following the end of o2-UK’s exclusivity deal with Apple.

In light of this, o2 are now doing the honourable thing by offering the unlock option FREE of charge providing that you honour the remainder of your existing contract if you are on a pay monthly tariff, as for those that are on Pay as You go, unlocking can only take place 12 months after you’ve purchased your the device.
